SERVICE 06
Dry Needling
Dry needling uses thin, sterile, single-use needles to target trigger points in muscle. It is used as part of a broader rehabilitation plan rather than a standalone treatment.

When may this service be considered?
- 01Painful muscular trigger points
- 02Neck and shoulder muscle tightness
- 03Some back and limb pain of muscular origin
- 04Supporting exercise when muscle tension limits movement
An assessment-led approach
After assessment, explanation and your consent, needles are applied following sterility and safety standards, then followed by movement and exercise to reinforce the benefit.
Clinical considerations
It may not be suitable during certain stages of pregnancy, for people on blood thinners, with needle phobia or bleeding disorders. Mild temporary soreness or bruising can occur.
